Well it's been so long - sorry for the gap in NEWS. After we returned from Africa in May we moved to the countryside. I'm now hoping to continue doing some music with Paddy and also looking for new musicians to work with in the Banbury, Oxfordshire area. I would like to record some of the songs that didn't get onto the first album and some of the new ones too so I have plenty of work to do. Watch this space. In Africa I had the fantastic opportunity of playing flute with a local Kora player called Moriba - here's a picture of us playing at someone's wedding.

I'm off for three months to help my partner organise a festival in Kartong, The Gambia and will be back in the UK from the beginning of May. It's an exciting opportunity to work with musicians from different backgrounds and traditions and to experience the rich culture and rhythms in an exciting setting! We really enjoyed playing at Mr Wolf's on November 24th - as well as Chandra's set, we played several of Paddy's tunes with Chandra accompanying on the flute.

What a great little venue Mr Wolf's is!
